Description
Headcloth made of white cotton batiste, embroidered with black silk thread. The surface is completely filled. In the corner is a pomegranate, above it three round flowers and smaller apples. Most motifs are decorated at the edges with fine hatching. Along the edge is a very wide knitted lace with large eyelet scallops. Techniques: satin stitch, flat stitch, buttonhole stitch, stem stitch, decorative embroidered mesh fillings. Measurements: 77 x 78 cm linen, 29 cm lace. A later work, possibly from the art workshop active after the First World War at the Czech Union of Women and Girls in Pilsen.
